What is a Sell-Off?

WHAT IS A SELL-OFF?

In an attempt to sell all remaining charter airline seats and hotel accommodations, tour operators will reduce the prices for specific dates of travel to encourage new bookings.

These reduced tour packages are called “Sell-Offs”. The discounted amount and the advance notice given concerning these sell-offs will vary with each tour company and departure date.

The links listed below are for the six (6) major tour companies who operate from Toronto. These six links will bring you to the tour operator’s home page. To search for their “Sell-Off” list, simply locate the page titled “Deals” or “Last Minute Sales”.

These special promotions change on a daily basis. After you select a package you wish to confirm, you should contact Cataract Travel for “Bottom Line” pricing which will include all taxes and any applicable discounts available.

Because these are all Canadian Tour Companies please note that all web site pricing will be in Canadian Funds. At the time you are making your reservations, you will be quoted both a Canadian and US dollar amount with the option of purchasing your sell-off in either currency.
